Two Ways to Quickly Become More Attractive in Your Marketing

We all know what “posture” means.. standing erect, etc. But with regard to your business, your posture – your level of confidence and competence – determines how you are perceived by others. Developing posture takes training, dedication and time. Believe in yourself and your business, and until you do believe in yourself and your business, pretend you do! Practice confidence consciously and you will find that people are drawn to you and eager to learn from you.

When I first started my home-based business many years ago, I didn’t understand why no one took me seriously. I learned that it was because I had not yet developed my posture. I didn’t believe in myself so how could I expect anyone else to believe in me? Then one day I realized people were responding much more positively to me and my business began to grow! I mentioned it to one of my company leaders and she said “It’s your posture.” It was a great day for me!

Two of my favorite ways of developing posture are as follows:

1. Your 60 Second Commercial

Determine your weaknesses and the areas of your life that you would like to improve. Then write your “60 Second Commercial,” a statement of how you desire to BE once you have overcome your perceived weaknesses. Write it as if you have already accomplished your posture. For example, because many people have a fear of phone calls and doing follow up calls, you might include something similar to the following:

“I love making my follow up calls! I am really great talking to people about the products and the business. People trust me and respect my views and opinions. When I call people on the telephone, they are always glad to hear from me and anxious to hear what I have to say. I have tremendous confidence in myself and my ability to help others achieve success.”

I taped my 60 Second Commercial to my bathroom mirror and read it to myself every morning and every night. It’s a powerful thing when you begin to believe what you are reading. and then it becomes reality.

2. Your Vision

I have learned that having a Vision, a description of the first day that you accomplish your goals. For example, if your goal is to quit your J.O.B. and go full time with your network marketing company, you might write your Vision to describe the first day you wake up and begin your adventure as a full time network marketer. Be sure to include sights, sounds smells, etc. Make it feel real. Then read your Vision to yourself every day – even twice a day – until your vision becomes as real to you as your present. When your subconscious hears your Vision daily, it begins to believe it (I’ve heard that the subconscious mind cannot take a joke!) and therefore gets busy helping you to accomplish the goals and dreams contained in that Vision. This is very powerful.

You will know when you have developed your posture because people will be ATTRACTED to you. It will impact every part of your life – personal and professional. I wish you every success on your journey to greater posture!

People are always asking me how to create income online and I always tell them that Affiliate Marketing is one of the easiest and most lucrative methods.

One of my favorite affiliate programs is Clickbank.  It is easiest and most profitable affiliate programs to use.  You can choose from thousands of products and set up your affiliate link within minutes.

Just go to Clickbank.com and set up an account.  You will choose your own “nickname” which you will use in all your affiliate links for specific products.

Once you have an account, log in to your account at Clickbank.com and look at the top of the page where it says Welcome. Click on MarketPlace and you will see where you can enter a key word to search for products that you would like to represent.  You can search by subject, title, author, etc.

Say you want to offer a product about golf… type in “golf” in the search box.

A list of products will come up and you can see for each product the cost, your commission and a description of the product.

You can click on the sales (pitch) page to learn more about the product.  If you want to market that product, click on “Create Hoplink” and you will find a page where you can insert your Clickbank nickname and create your own affiliate link.

Copy that affiliate link into a document on your computer so you can save it.

Read the sales page and create a brief description of what you are offering.  If you are using the product yourself (which I recommend), give your personal experience as a testimonial in your description.

Search at Google or Yahoo for the author of the product and see if they have any articles you can use. Write to the author to ask for banners, ads, etc.

Often you will also be able to log in as an affiliate at the sales page where you will find banners and sample ads you can use.  Each product will be a little different with regard to what is available for your marketing efforts.

Once you have chosen the affiliate program, it is a good idea to purchase a domain name that you will redirect to your affiliate link.

Why?  Because most affiliate links are not very attractive.  Here is one I created as an example:

is redirected to the actual affiliate link…

See the difference?  Which link would you want to promote?  Which link would you be most likely to click on?

You may purchase a domain name inexpensively and redirect it for no additional cost to your affiliate link.  There are many domain companies you can use.

Once you have your domain name you can log in to your account and click on Manage to paste in your affiliate link for the redirection.  Then when someone clicks on your domain name, they will be automatically directed to your affiliate link.

Now you are ready to share the product you have chosen.

Include your new domain name which is redirected to your affiliate link in your email signature, in your profile at online communities, social networks and forums. BE SURE to double check that your domain name is working before you start promoting it.  I know from experience that it is NOT fun to promote something and THEN find out the link is not working.

If you have a website or blog create a page of helpful resources and include all your affiliate programs.

I do recommend that you choose a “niche” and then choose products that fit into your niche for better results.

Affiliate marketing can be fun AND lucrative, so make a decision to move forward and go for it!

Clickbank is just ONE of my favorite ways to create affiliate income.
